Fiction and the Future

San Francisco, CA

## A live conversation about creative writing, technology, and the futures we imagine

Fiction and the Future is a conversation series hosted by Anthropic co-founder Jack Clark. Each event explores an author’s work: the technologies it imagines, the moral conundrums it raises, and the truths about our world found inside the author’s creation.

The first event, on September 14, 2026 in San Francisco, brings Jack together with novelist Robin Sloan, author of Mr. Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore, Sourdough, and Moonbound, among many other creative endeavors.
